I would like to take a little of your time to introduce myself. I am a portrait photographer here in New Jersey since 1969. Focused on portraiture on location. Your home, office, wedding, in the park or other location of your choice.
No doubt, you already have been or soon will be contacted by many of the large baby picture firms concerning portraits of your baby. Here’s a few tips….. I hope these hints about child photography will be helpful:
Don’t be persuaded into using the photographers’ toys… They are usually handled by hundreds of children throughout the year and seldom (if ever) sanitized. Tell the photographer to use your childs’ toys or non at all.
The same is true for blankets, pillows, hats, sunglasses etc. etc..
Have the photographer wash his hands too !
For enivronmental portraits (Outside in the natural surroundings) the best results are obtained in the early morning or in the evening. The mid day sun creates too harsh of shadows for pleasant results.
